The Munificent "Jockey" John Robinson

The 6th video in our series on Washington and Lee history, this video describes the greatest benefactor of the antebellum academy: "Jockey" John Robinson. Robinson was an Irish immigrant who made a fortune throughout his life, becoming a close friend of Washington College, where he bequeathed his entire estate.
