Continuing their strong reputation of civil discourse and debate, the VMI Center for Leadership and Ethics and Building Bridges Club will be hosting their second intercollegiate debate of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Participants will debate the following resolution: “Should monuments that are perceived as symbols of oppression be removed from public spaces?”
Open to students, faculty, and staff of the four colleges in Rockbridge County (Mountain Gateway Community College, Southern Virginia University, Virginia Military Institute, and Washington and Lee University). THIS EVENT WILL NOT BE LIVESTREAMED.
