It’s Not Too Late To Save W&L

The Generals Redoubt is pleased to share the insightful letter below from one of our board members.

Judith Conlin provides an interesting perspective as both a W&L parent and an alumna of Harvard. She has witnessed first-hand the dramatic changes at both universities in recent years and holds out hope that W&L may avoid many of the mistakes that Harvard has made.

As the leadership of W&L has distanced the University from its founders and deemphasized unique traditions, Judith asks the poignant question:  Is Washington and Lee being transformed from “a place like no other” to a “place like every other”?

We invite you to read her entire letter in the following link https://thegeneralsredoubt.us/wp-content/uploads/Judith-Conlon-Letter.pdf and thank you for your support of The Generals Redoubt.
